FIRST EVER INDIGENOUS MUSEUM IN AUSTRALIA

Australia’s pre-eminent Aboriginal museum and cultural centre to celebrate our first Australians must be located in Perth and the banks of the Swan river is the perfect location. This is a cause I will champion for the City. It will honour the rich culture and contribution that Aboriginal people have made to Australia and be a major tourism attraction to compliment the soon to be completed WA Museum Boola Bardip. There are indigenous collections, galleries and cultural centres within State and National Museums around Australia, but no standalone museum celebrating the history and culture of the Aboriginal people in Australia.
